This blog will temporarily take over the Misegadesfamily Home page from December 14 until I can change it.
Merry Christmas from France

Merry Christmas!

It is Christmas Eve, my sister-in-law, Sheri, and my niece, Kristin are in the kitchen in the big chalet (Colorado) baking up a storm.  My little great-nieces are with their Uncle Logan in the diningroom playing.  My brother is somewhere -- probably in town, my other nephews are various places.  It is really wonderful being here with family.

I haven't actually seen much of France yet, that will come after the first of the year, hopefully.

Yesterday, we had church in the great room.  It was family plus two good friends of Bob and Sheri.  A french friend that speaks English and a Dutch friend that speaks English but not french.  At one point we were praying (as Bob said, in whatever language you wish) It was so wonderful to hear prayers in three languages going up to God. Each one of us were children of God celebrating his birth, death and resurrection.  For me it was very graphic of God's love.  I've always known it in my head, now I know it in my heart.  It was a simple service, but it meant a lot to me.

I know I haven't seen the country, but I am still having an adventure.  An adventure of the heart.

Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Charlotte
