Trip to the South of France

One should always write about what one sees on the day he or she see it. My only excuse was I was exhausted by the time we drove and looked at the sights. Last Sunday (January 13th) Bob, Sheri and I took off for the south of France. Our first stop (about 4 hours away) was Avignon. "Now my dear children if you remember you world history, you will know that this was the cite of the French Popes (9 in all). For about 100 years there were 2 sets of Popes, the Italian and the French. -- Forgot that didn't you. I did." Anyway it is a wonderful city to tour. The picture is of the theater that is still used today.
