This blog will temporarily take over the Misegadesfamily Home page from December 14 until I can change it.
A day in the life

Bon Jour!  Sophia really has nothing to do with the title, she just looked so cute I had to post it.  She is Kristin's youngest child and has on her Uncle Logan's hat.  I caught this while Sheri and I were babysitting.

To the title.  I experienced the life of a hotelier.   After a client leaves (or on Fridays if they are coming back) beds need to be made, cleaning and vacuuming done (my job) (this time) in 4 chalets and 3 bedrooms in the chalet with eight rooms (like a regular hotel room).  Not my kind of job, but it has to be done.  Also I have watched Bob do all kinds of odd jobs, move and set tables, play piano and guitar (even struggle singing with a bad cold) and the thing he does best gab with the clientele (it's fun to watch even if he is speaking in French -- My brother speaking french, it still makes me laugh!)  Besides cleaning, making beds, etc. Sheri  plans and cooks the meals, goes shopping and talks to the clients.  Where is the missionary work you may ask?  In every aspect of their lives.  I can't explain on "paper" but hopefully I will be able to in person when I get home.  One more trip is planned to the south of France as Sheri and Bob take me to Toulouse for the  trip back.  Nope, no Paris this time I have to come back to France for sure, so I can see Paris.  I don't know how much more I can write before I'm home.  Hopefully, the hotels will have WiFi so I can finish out my blog.  I have enjoyed doing it.  Au revoir until next time.
