The Misegades Trio
photo

After our 6 course dinner (We started at 8:00 P.M. and finished at 1:00 A.M.), we were treated with music from the Misegades Trio (Bob, Christine -- Josh's wife, and Nolan Isaac (Kristin's husband).  S'Bon!!  The six courses started with canape and aperitif, then salad, then fish with white wine, then chicken with red wine (I was surprised it wasn't another white wine), then cheese, by that time it was midnight and our champagne, followed by dessert and then coffee.  They consider coffee another course and it is not necessarily served with the dessert. In case anyone is concerned that I am turning into a wino, I only sipped a little (honest) at each course that had one, and then I had either diet coke (yes, they have it France) or water.  But we did have a great party, and almost everyone stayed here so there was no drinking and driving.

Hope your New Year's was as much fun.  Check out the photos below to see more fun.

Hi,

I met Bob Misegades in Paris in 1989, when I was on a missions trip. We were the Canadian team. I was just thinking of him, googled, and found your blog and you mentioning him. Please tell him (if you can) that Michel says hi, and that I would love to reconnect! He might not remember me - I have good memories of him! I can be reached at mpsavard@magma.ca.

Cheers,

Michel in Canada
